Delectably Delicious!
This is a small tres leches cake I made for a friend some time ago.  I prefer to make a yellow cake, which I used in this one.  For the leche, I used equal parts evaporated milk, heavy cream, and condensed milk(12 .oz is what I used, but I had a lot of left over milk).  To that, I added a Tbsp. of vanilla and 2 tsp. of almond extract. The filling, I used a French Meringue butter cream and strawberry slices that I drenched in a strawberry coulis, since they were out of season and not sweet enough, then frosted with the buttercream and decorated with fondant flowers.
